Ken thanks for all of the work you do on this website and on the reunion.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make the reunion.  I can only take the
time to do one trip to Portland and we will be coming up in October for the
Grant High School Sports Hall of Fame induction for the the 53, 54, 55, 56
and 57 swimming team(s)  which went undefeated for those five years.  I was
one of the team members from 53 to 57 and won multiple city and state
championship events (opportunity to brag a bit).  So say "Hi" to all of my
class mates and tell them I'm sorry to have missed yet another reunion.

I am sending also a big thanks to Ken and all the staff who have worked so hard for all of us to keep in touch. This has been a huge blessing to me and I know to others, So enjoyed getting to see some folks that have not seen in a long time at the reunion, and also on Sunday morning for breakfast. Those who could not make it to the breakfast, you missed it, hearing about some of the funny stories that some have lived through over the past 55 years. I for one loved every minuet of it..thanks again to all of you and to Ken.

Not sure where to go to post information about a classmate that I finally tracked down, so hope this gets to the right place. Jim Casteel is living at 37305 Hwy. 1, Monterey, CA. 93940. He and his wife Jeannie live in an old school house overlooking the Pacific Ocean. His e-mail is jim1272@att.net .

Thanks, Ken, for maintaining this site.  Through this site I want to announce that my daughter may be publishing a book within the next year, title 'A Fare to Remember', about her experiences driving taxi in the unique world of Key West, FL for over ten years.  (I used to live there too but got islanditis & moved, and know that KW is a fun place!)  It will include stories about dogs riding as single passengers in cab or pedicab, driving pilots to and from airport such as Blue Angels pilots, driving a retired bank robber, hurricane stories, taking dogs and owners to destinations from airport after all flying there by private aircraft, even helicopter, at least one about plane running into alligator on runway, so on.  Very entertaining!  I'm transcribing tapes of these short stories right now; she yet has to edit and do pen/ink illustrations, but as soon as it's available, I'll let people know.

Who's idea was it to just have lunch for the reunion ? Big disappointment.  I doubt if many show up.  Mike  McCuddy
